my first couple of days back to school were not that bad.
although yes i did have some trouble adjusting back to 'school mode'
and i do feel kinda weird but after a week, i'll be okay.
however, my first day back was horrible of course.
i felt lost, foreign and scared primarily because i had science and maths on my first day back. :S:S
that night, i slept @ 2 am.
the next day was much better, i had food tech.
i made choc chip cookies and they were so goooooood
first out of the ovennnnnn HAHAHH they tasted like subway cookies YUM! that night, i slept @ 12.
the next day, was a combination of bludging and short periods.
that night, i slept @ 12.
as you can see, i've had late nights and i've had so much trouble getting back into school mode.
can anybody recommend some methods or ideas to feel better about myself?
thank you, goodnight and heres the inspiration for today.
xx

What beautiful inspiration! These are stunning images, you have an excellent eye for beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling the same with uni so I don't know how I can best advise you. I definitely surround myself with the things I love, and keep up your hobbies out of school because you don't want to lose touch with those. Good luck! x

Love these images. As for getting back into the swing of things, it always takes me ages as well. I find a cup of camomile tea and an early night works wonders. And of course looking forward to the weekend! xo

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about school. I've been here for a month and I'm already sick of it. Soo, I don't really have any suggestions. Except I find that hobbies (ex. field hockey, drawing) really help me!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Haha, okay, I will post my uniform soon! (nothing Gossip Girl adorable - don't get too excited!!)

Wow, these photos are beautiful! To have a room looking like that one would be a dream! I totally know how you feel about adjusting to school mode. My first week this week was sooooo long. It went on forever and I couldn't sleep, it was too early. Ah, we will get used to it soon
ReplyDeletethanks for dropping by on my blog!
ReplyDeleteloveee your blog! mind to exchange link anyway?

love these photos and your header! i would suggest little things like an impromptu mani/pedi to boost spirits when you're feeling particularly low..
ReplyDeleteOMG i read the boy in the striped pajamas and i cried!
ReplyDeleteI CRIED IN THE BOOK!!
i never cry in books, so now i really wanna see the movie, i'll be balling my eyes out haha
LOVING THOSE PICTURESS LADIES! :D
ReplyDeleteFAVOURITES HAVE TO BE THE 1ST, 2ND (OMG I WANT MY ROOM TO LOOK LIKE THAT) AND 4TH. :)
and fyi i replied to your question about sacs on my blog haha but i'll post it here anyway
"haha all caps or all lowercases are the way to go :D yup they sold out online within minutes! i stayed up til midnight to buy them, then they sold out, and then they sold out on ticketmaster in like 15 minutes and at outlets (which i lined up for) in like 30 minutes. so sad :(
yes i am a proudly from melbourne :) you too? a sac stands for school assessed coursework - so like a test or an outcome, this then adds to your study score and enter score as a percentage... does that make sense? the stress is that i'm in year 12 and my final exams are coming up :("
PS. LOVEE SUBWAY WHITE-MAC COOKIES! JUST HAD SOME.
PPS. try to meditate/read before you sleep, or have a cup of decaf tea (so it won't keep you up all night) also, have you tried yoga or pilates? :P
PPPS. SMILEEEE :)
That picture of the hand-face totally tripped me out! What I did to get back in to school mode is take gravol to make me go to sleep, eventually my body recognized that I needed sleep and I didn't have to take gravol anymore. That may not be the method you want to take though!
ReplyDeletegreat photos! i love those black leather zipper boots!
ReplyDeletegreat blog! i just found you ladies....
ReplyDeletelove the tallulah and the face painted on the hands.
great post.
i'm loving the third picture, with the stripy shirt and flower leggings! she's mixing prints so well :D i hope i don't look shallow, only commenting on the picture, but I don't have the time to read any texts at the moment :(
ReplyDeletefirst photo is ah-mazing!
ReplyDeletexo

ReplyDeleteBrilliant room pictures - they've inspired me to start working on my room in college! The perfect recipe for cheering up is pyjamas+fire+hot chocolate+book.

Beautiful photos- so inspiring! Great picks, Leo!
ReplyDeleteSorry your first couple of days back at school were a bit bumpy- they will definitely get better. Also know, as you get older (I speak from experience - haha ;) that sort of thing gets a lot easier. Go easy on yourself- feeling nervous or anxious is just all part of that learning experience. You will rock the world in no time flat!
Hey :) Thanks for you lovely comment, as usual i appreciate it so much! I LOVE these photos! Seriously, i wish i could own all of these and put them up on a wall... haa :)
