scissors, a needle and a thread

hello.
Its the end of the first week of holidays and that means another week to go before school is coming back to annoy me with homework and whatnot. So i think this week is going to be mostly about DIY projects, shopping and some movies (i really want to watch 500 Days of Summer). Well i was roaming through this site and found these dresses from the

and there's a beret made out of buttons too!

Its gonna be on my DIY projects to-do-list but i don't know which one to do. The last one looks pretty easy with the buttons sew here and there and Chanel Iman just made it look too cool. I wouldn't wear the button beret because it wouldn't suit my style. So maybe the full on buttons dress?

can anyone help me make this?
And here are some newspaper dresses that i might make when i brush up on my sewing skills.

  6. I think if I were to make a DIY form the buttons I'd do the full on button dress. It'd so beautiful and unique, however it would take forever and I'm impatient! As for the newspaper dress, the last one is phenomenal.

  15. ive always loved newspaper and buttons in/made of clothes!

a couple of weeks ago for my school "hippie day" my friend made a dress entirely of newspaper. at the end of the day the back had ripped a little--showing her bra, but i still thought she looked awesome.

your blog is lovely as always. are you two besties?

This might help a little bit: http://fluffyland.com/blog/index.php/starburst-wrapper-bracelet-tutorial/
It's a tutorial using starburst wrappers to make a bracelet, but it uses the same concept as the bag. (:
